Your comments are appreciated and valued.
May 2013 give you good health and good fortune.
My husband took this picture in November

SplodgeAway Mat, Distress Inks and a Personal Impressions stamp

This Tag was so quick to make.
Distress inks, a blending tool and a SplodgeAway Mat.
It's my DT sample for the SplodgeAway Blog.
I'm finding that blending distress inks is so much quicker
and easier when I use a SplodgeAway Mat.
After blending Lemonade, Mustard Seed
Pale Lilac and Seedless Preserves together.
I splashed some water over the tag and dried it with a heat gun.
The edges were inked with a little Vintage Photo and
the leaves are painted with Distress Stains.
I also added some 'dots' with a white Uni Posca pen.
The stamp is from Personal Impressions and is called 'P890M'.
My smaller, sentiment stamp comes from the Hero Arts range.
I really enjoyed making the Tag.
I 'plonked' Sepia Glossy Accents onto the berries as a final touch!
Thanks for looking today and for all the lovely comments.
Keep warm, stay safe and carry on crafting!

PanPastles and a Sheena Douglass Stamp

Yo ho bloggers
this card is a sample I've made using some gorgeous stamps from Sheena Douglass.
Our challenge on the PanPastel Challenge Blog
this week is, Song Title / Carol.
It didn't say it had to be about Christmas
so my take is 'Tulips from Amsterdam'! Roll on the Spring!
Bright Yellow Green and a Dart Tint of Bright Yellow Green
for the background, plus a quick spray
of cheap hairspray to seal the colour.
The Tulips were stamped, cut out and coloured with primary
PanPastel colours and heat embossed with clear EP.
I stamped the image onto the card
then layered the cut out image, over the top.
A few white dots with a white Uni Posca pen,
some blobs of liquid Pearls... job done!
Please join in our challenge if you can.
It's fun and you could win a brilliant PanPastels trial pack
from our sponsor,Your Creativity Store
BTW. you don't need to use PanPastels on your entry
you can use any medium you like!
Thanks so much for the super comments
you leave for me x
Take care and have a good week.
