Imagination Crafts Stencils, Distress Inks and some Sparkle Gel Medium.

 Hi ho Bloggers.
A quick post to share with you a few cards, using some products from Imagination Crafts

My first card was created with a stencil, some very pretty back ground paper designed by Tracey Dutton from Lavinia Stamps and some Sparkle Medium Glimmer Gel Paste, along with various colours of Distress inks.
I attached the stencil to my background paper with some Lo tac masking tape, it's a good quality weight paper, and coloured the image through the stencil with the Distress Inks.
Remove the stencil and dry the inks with a heat gun. Tape the stencil back over the image and apply the Gel Medium through the stencil.
Remove the stencil and allow the image to dry for
several hours... don't touch!  Pop your stencil into water to clean.

Imagination Crafts have a fabulous selection of stencils on their web site and I used some of them for all the samples posted here. Check out more of their products on QVC too!
Both the Holly and Butterfly cards were created using the same technique as above but after applying the Gel Medium and removing the stencil, I tipped Micro Beads over the image.
These cards took longer to dry but I really love this 'look'!

My final card this morning (another post using Sparkle Gel later) again features the beautiful background papers, a stencil with the same image to match the paper and some black dimensional paste I had in my stash.

Thank you for popping by my blog to look. I'll be posting some small cards later, that I created with various colours of the Sparkle Mediums along with some brass Christmas Stencils that I've had for YEARS and were FREE with various magazines I bet you have some in your crafty stash too!

Designs by Ryn NEW Stamps and Distress inks.

Hi Bloggers! Quick post today, to share a card I've made, using some more of Ryn's new stamps.
The Spiral Set, was stamped onto the reverse, white side, of Centura Pearl card stock, using Versamark ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder. Then I created the colourful background with a solid circle shadow stamp and loads of Distress Inks over the top of the main images. After the Distress inks were dry, I polished the Spiral images with some kitchen towel, this removed the residue of the inks. A few dots with some black and white Rangers Enamel and a diecut Birthday die. Job done!
Loved making this.
Thanks for looking at my Blog today.
See you soon.

Designs by Ryn... NEW STAMPS!

Morning Bloggers.... Today, I'm sharing a Tag with you, that I created using some NEW stamps from Designs By Ryn. Find her website HERE!

They are the most fabulous stamps and I'm looking forward to sharing more sample projects with you.
The main texture on this tag was created with a Tim Holtz Texture Fade embossing folder called 'Ink Splats'. After running it through my Big-shot, I painted the Tag with white Gesso, then dried it with a heat gun, before blending various colours of Distress inks to produce this background. Then I stamped Ryn's new Compound Leaf with black Versafine Ink.. a few bits of  tarting up here and there, some American Seam Binding coloured with Distress Stains and that's it, job done.
Lavinia Stamps, New Stamp Designs tomorrow .... please come back and have a look. It's all happening here!
Thanks for popping by today and cheers to you all for the super emails and comments. XXx

Lavinia Stamps Challenge # 8

Morning bloggers. A new challenge from Lavinia Stamps starts today! You could win a WHOPPING £40 voucher to spend in the Lavinia Stamps web shop. Pop over and see the super inspiration
from our Design Team and get crafting!
The theme is 'Autumn Colours'
I used the very pretty Maple Leaf stamp on my first card along with a Sweet Poppy Stencil in the same design.
I attached the stencil to my White linen card stock and coloured the leaves through the stencil with Distress Inks.
Remove the stencil and dry the inks with a heat gun.
After cleaning the stencil I attached it back into place and taped it firmly down again with some lo tac tape.
Apply Translucent Paste  then very carefully remove the stencil and cover the image with clear Micro Beads.
Leave the card to dry overnight .... don't be tempted to touch!

My second card to share with you is the lovely leaf stamp, stamped using various colours of distress inks... quick and very easy to do.
The sentiment on the card is a 'Rub On'.
Thanks for looking today and don't forget to enter the Challenge you could win the super prize!
