The Sweet Poppy Stencil Show, with the lovely Lucy Ellis, will be on Create and Craft TV at 11am this morning . Both of my sample cards have distress inks back grounds using square and circle masks from Designs by Georgina. Card One features the gorgeous  Zen Thistle Stencil.
Note the fantastic stamp from Chocolate Baroque !

Card Two also has the same distress inks and masks background, but this time using the Crealies Patchwork Die CLMP 08, as the card's main feature. Sweet Poppy Stencil DECO Flower is so pretty and just right for this card.

Old Paper Towels = Brusho Paints Backgrounds On Canvas Board

Just a very quick post tonight. The backgrounds of both of these Canvasses were Die cut from some old, strong, washable paper towels, that I keep on my desk to mop up Brusho Paints and other arty messy stuff. They had reached the ''lets use 'em'' stage! The stencils are from Joggles and  Donna Downey  I just glued the colourful backgrounds to the round Canvas boards!  Fresco Finish ''little black dress'' Paper Artsy paint, through the stencils along with a Sparkle Gold pen ... job done!

Rochester Workshop January 2016 Group One - The Results.

So much fun last Saturday at my  Gelli Pate Workshop... The pictures you see here do not give you a true flavour of the day... the Art work produced by my ladies in the class was far more vibrant and colourful than I could capture in very poor light.. But we had a ball! So looking forward to this Saturday with Group Two!

Pick A Stick Challenge - On Facebook

Morning all, something new to tell you about and share today. Last week I was invited by an online friend, Peg Adkins Robinson, to join a new, Art Journaling Challenge Group she is part of.
The Pick A Stick Challenge on Facebook. Its a great idea.

Every month during 2016, ten sticks will be drawn at random, from a large pot of Lolly Sticks!
Each one has a message / instruction written on it, informing you of the style, media, technique to use, for that month's challenge.
The only other stipulation is that you layer your page in the order that the sticks are drawn ... This is not as easy as it sounds! But such good fun... this is my January Journal page.  BTW you have almost a month to complete your challenge page!

Join us on Facebook to see the 'titles' of the steps I've created here.
Its all stress free. I've used a little artistic license with some of them, whilst obeying the rules as much as possible, of course!
