Yo!... Last Saturday a group of my crafty pals and I got together to raise some funds for
Demelza House, Children's Hospice and The Harrietsham Ferret Rescue Center.
It was the MOST super day. Fun and laughter all the way
We had a fab time as we made cards to distribute to the various Demelza House shops to sell.
Val White, along with some help from her grandson, Conner, did a wonderful job to ensure it all went smoothly. Val had organised the ticket sales that included a delicious Fish and chip lunch.
There was a raffle, various competitions and a lucky dip that lasted throughout the day.
Anything in fact to make us open our purses and spend
I had to go home to get more cash!
I would like to send our warm thanks to Tracey from Lavinia Stamps, Sue from Imagination Crafts and Lucy from Sweet Poppy Stencils who were very generous and donated such lovely crafty products for us to include in our raffle.

Barbara Cleggett baked this stunner of a cake
so we could guess the weight.
Thank you Barbara x
and Paula brought along loads of pretty
Bracelets for
us to sell, thank you Paula x
We will post the
full totals when we have them. We have over a 1000 + cards to give to Demelza
House to sell. Many crafters that could not attend sent in hundreds to us, thank you folks x.
The monies raised by
ticket sales and competitions/raffle on the day was over £460plus more coming
in or going directly to the the Ferret Rescue Center.
PHEW! Happy Day and
a profit!
Finally, a special
mention to those lovely ladies that bought tickets but for various reasons
could not join us on the day but have sent in, or are sending cards they have
made to us ... Thank you.
